Dating Safety

Meeting new people should be exciting — not risky. Follow these guidelines to keep yourself safe online and offline. Safety features like photo verification, in-app calls, translation, and one-tap reporting are built into ChatBoom² so you never have to leave the app to get to know someone.

Online safety

• Never send money or financial details to anyone — no exceptions, no matter how convincing the story. Report anyone who asks; requesting money is an instant ban under our Community Guidelines.
• Keep your chat inside ChatBoom² while you get to know someone. Our chat has built-in translation and lets us act on reports; we cannot protect you on outside apps. Be wary of anyone who immediately pushes to move to LINE or WhatsApp.
• Don't share your home address, workplace, phone number, ID documents, or financial information with someone you just met.
• Don't share intimate photos with people you don't fully trust.

What the gold seal means

A profile with the gold seal has passed our verification: a live selfie check matched against a government ID, reviewed by our moderation team. It confirms the person is real and of age — but stay alert; verification is not a character reference. (Verification images are deleted within 24 hours — see our Privacy Policy.)

Meeting in person

• Have a video call first — ChatBoom² has free in-app video calls. A two-minute call saves both of you time and confirms who you're meeting.
• Meet in a public place (a mall or busy café), ideally in the daytime.
• Arrange your own transport there and back — don't share a vehicle on a first date.
• Tell a friend where you're going and who you're meeting, or bring them along.
• Go easy on alcohol, and never leave your drink, phone, or bag unattended.
• Ask a friend to call you 15 minutes in — an easy exit if it doesn't feel right.
• Trust your instincts. If something feels off, leave. You owe nobody an explanation.

Reporting

• Every profile and chat has a Report option. Adding a reason helps our moderators act faster. The person is never told you reported them.
• Reported accidentally? Don't worry — nobody is banned without human review.
• If someone blocked you or deleted their profile after a bad experience, email support@chat2boom.com with their profile name and we will investigate.

Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) policy

LCR ONE OÜ has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual exploitation of minors. ChatBoom² is strictly 18+. We work to identify, prevent, and report such activity.

• How to report: use the in-app Report feature immediately if you encounter content or behavior involving minors — including content shared outside the app by a ChatBoom² member. If the account has been deleted, email support@chat2boom.com with the profile name.
• Our approach: automated detection plus human moderator review; every automated flag is reviewed by a trained person before action.
• Our response: immediate content and account removal, and reporting of incidents to law enforcement and child-protection organizations.
• External support: National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), Thailand's Child Protection Hotline 1300, or your local police.
